What is Mindfulness?

"A particular way of paying attention: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally." Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

"Live in the moment, notice what is happening and make choices in how you respond to your experience, rather than being driven by habitual reactions." Vidyamala Burch, author of 'Mindfulness for Health'

Mindfulness helps us calm our mind, as we learn to live more in the present, rather than worry about the past or the future. Mindfulness training can benefit anyone, and it’s particularly helpful for people experiencing stress, anxiety, low-level depression or chronic pain or illness. Mindfulness training has been shown to be effective in a wide range of clinical trials.

I can offer Mindfulness courses on request for a minimum of six people, or tailored one-to-one sessions. Please contact me for more details.
